language of the newspaper has some specificity distinguishing it from the language of fiction or scientific literature, as well as from colloquial speech. It is a consequence of a long choice of linguistic means of expression being most appropriate to the social task that the newspapers fulfill as the core mass media. The wish to inform the latest news as soon as possible is reflected both in communication tasks and in their speech implementation. The newspaper is directed at a wide range of readers and should attract their attention. Readers do not wish to spend much time reading a non-specialized mass newspaper, so newspaper information should be organized so that the message is conveyed shortly to have some emotional influence on readers.
